features as standard than other brands offer. Pool World
pools lead the industry by adapting features from inground
pools and manufacturing them into our above ground pools.
So for about 25% the cost of an inground pool your family
can enjoy all the benefits of an above ground pool.
Fresh Water Pools
Low chlorine. No salt to rust the steel pool wall or steel
pool support system. Why take the risk with corrosion.
Strong Top Copings
Pool World's top copings are made from galvanised base
colourbond steel with a water "flow off" design.
They are up to 100% thicker than some others on the market.
These copings will not deteriorate with the high UV sunlight
rays as may occur with some plastic copings. Our copings
are made strong and should last the life of the pool.
Braceless Support System
Pool World's patented braceless support system has not
only been tested at the Engineering Department of the
University of Queensland, but it will save you $1000 to
$3000 on pool fencing when the pool is installed on top
of the ground. This also ensures easy self-installation
due to no nuts, bolts and washers for the support system.
Some other brands may have up to 52 nuts, bolts and washers
per brace to assemble their support system.
Internal Seating Bench and Wading Area
No more do you and your children have to always stand
up in your above ground pool. Sit back and relax while
the children play in the pool. Just like a bench and step
in an inground pool, this feature is built into the pool
during installation with a tailor-made liner.
Top Step on Seating Bench & Wading
Area
For pools that are being installed with decking or in
the ground here is the ideal step out of the pool. Just
like a bench and step in an inground pool. You will not
require a ladder.
Wider Pools
All Pool World pool measurements are in metric and are
water line measurements. Pool World above ground pools
are 3.8m and 4.6m wide at the water line. Be aware that
some other pools are much narrower such as 3.4m and 3.6m
wide. A 24' x 12' pool in some other brands are approximately
the same water area as Pool World's 6.2m x 3.8m.
Timber Decking Your Pool?
By using Pool World's exclusive Liner Hanging Strip, it
prevents the removal of the decking in the future in the
case of liner maintenance as you would have to do if you
had another brand of pool.
Easy Access Fibreglass Entry Steps and
Spa Option
The fibreglass easy access entry steps allows walk in
entry to your Pool World above ground pool with seating
area. Spa jets and an air blower are an option to create
a spa in the fibreglass steps. Ideal for installation
with inground or decking installation.
Heavy Duty Liners in all Models
All Pool World pools have the heavy-duty 0.5mm liners
unlike some other brand's models that use a 0.36mm liner
in some models.
Large Inground Pools Skimmer Box
Pool World uses the Aquaswim SP5000 inground pool skimmer
box on all models. This means a strong and robust skimmer
with a large "half bucket size" leaf basket.
Some other brands will supply you with a much smaller
normal above ground pool skimmer with a "coffee cup"
size leaf basket which would require much more frequent
cleaning out.
Anti-Corrosion Kit
This unique option, exclusive to Pool World, allows for
the use of very strong and durable plastic top and bottom
wall stabilising rails. This is in addition to the black
plastic post base plates and gives totally non-corrosive
parts.
Stainless Steel Ladder
Pool World is the only company to manufacture a safe and
very high quality stainless ladder. This ladder has been
tested to 140Kg. The ladder on both sides is removable,
making it suitable for use with an automatic cleaner,
unlike some plastic moulded ladders which are fixed going
into the pool preventing the successful use of an automatic
cleaner.
